Nick Fry's Involvement
So, the issue about Super Aguri hasn’t stopped yet. And now, there’s the involvement of Nick Fry, who is the CEO of Honda Racing. As far as I can remember, Fry was the one who said that the Super Aguri will not be able to race because of the failed deal between the team and the Magma Group. He was also the one who said that the Weigl Group alone could not support a Formula 1 team like the SAF1 team. I’ll try not to be bias here, okay. When you thin about what Fry said regarding the obvious downfall of the entire Super Aguri team that involved the failed deal with the Magma Group, it was a bit hurtful. But I think he was just being realistic.
However, when he said that a company likes the Weigl Group will not be able to support a F1 team that needs rescuing, it was a bit overstated. Obviously, he has little idea about what the company can offer. So, how can he disapprove of the company that way? Okay, let’s say he was just being realistic but he was way too realistic and it doesn’t sound nice. It seemed like he has something against the Super Aguri that only he knows. I really don’t have any idea; I’m just not digging what he wants that’s all.
